The Owyhee desert of South Western Idaho and South Eastern Oregon has some
of the most remote places in America. Owyhee county, Idaho has the fewest
population per square mile for the entire country.

The Sawtooths |

The Sawtooths are part of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area (SNRA)
and are the most popular range in Idaho. Located in central Idaho they
are impressive, easy to get into and dispite the crowds, they are
certainly worth the visit in any season.

The White Clouds |

|
The White Clouds are located just east of the Sawtooths and if you spend
the time to get into there, they are very impressive with white scree
covered mountains and jagged peaks.

|
|
There are many impressive caves in Idaho. Most are Lava tubes, but we
have our share of highly decorated limestone caves also. As active
members of the Gem State Grotto
a grotto of the
National Speleological Society (NSS)
We have had the opertunity to visit many of these wonderfull places.

Hot Springs |
|
|
As one of the most geologically active states, we have the most
natural Hot Springs in the country.
